Michael Shelton -- "Lee," "Michael"

Whether taking a fall, taking verbal abuse or taking a luxurious bubble bath complete with scented candles, ambient music and a cucumber-based facial mask, Michael Shelton willingly gives his all in every movie he’s made with Crewless Productions. In fact, the same consummate fearlessness he revealed in such previous shorts as Goodnight, Springton, The Seven Year Switch and Reciprocity he now brings to his first feature-length film Hide and Creep, only this time without pants. In addition to his acting and wanton, almost worrisome, exhibitionism, Michael has spent the last ten years working in Birmingham's unforgiving live music scene, singing and playing guitar in sundry rock bands. Clearly, Mr. Shelton covets incessant attention.

Chris Hartsell -- "Chris"

A man of prodigious talent, voluminous screen credit and abs you could bounce a boulder off of, Chris Hartsell was born in Tarrant City, Alabama and is a graduate of Auburn University in Montgomery. Blessed with a voice angels would stab for and looks that have been known to blind the very gods themselves, Chris once appeared as an extra in Cobb starring Tommy Lee Jones. Glorified for his preternatural intellect, inconceivable strength and a rapacious carnal appetite that has been known to scare even house plants, Mr. Hartsell (as he likes to be addressed by loved ones) was also featured in the short films The Clock and Crewless Productions' Birthday Call as well as commercials for BellSouth and Baby Ruth candy bar. A man not restrained by the temporal concerns of mere mortals, a husband unequaled in the annals of history, literature and hearsay, a father who can only be defined by superlative after superlative after superlative, Chris Hartsell currently works as a Health Care Management Consultant in Birmingham. We are all better for knowing this magnificent bastard.

Chris Garrison -- "Ted"

After returning to the South, Chris continued doing freelance work on projects shown on Sesame Street, Cartoon Network and MTV as well as animating 17 regional ads for Jack's Family Restaurants and UAB football. Chuck Hartsell -- "Chuck," Co-Director, Co-Producer

Never before has the phrase "sexbomb" been more appropriate than when applied to respected family man Chuck Hartsell. But he's not just eye candy and a tantalizing musk, ladies! As screenwriter of the short Reciprocity, Chuck finally answered the ancient Plato conundrum, "What would happen if a twentysomething and a preteen tried to kill each other with common household items?" As the lead actor in The Seven Year Switch, he not only redefined "method acting" but also actually tried to rename it "Chuck-Style," with no success whatsoever. As one of the creative forces behind the Zombiefest and Sidewalk Film Festival-selected short film Birthday Call, he brought together two of his greatest passions—horror films and wishing people well on the day of their birth. Chuck also served as script supervisor and additional unit director for the film Alice's Misadventures in Wonderland. A Radio, Film and Television graduate of Auburn University, Chuck looks forward to selling out to the highest—or any—bidder. He currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife Rachel and one-year-old daughter Samantha, both of whose tireless, 100-hour workweeks building sets for Hide and Creep will not go unappreciated.

Chance Shirley -- Screenwriter, Co-Director, Co-Producer

Not since Larry, Moe and Curly inadvertently got their hands on some weapons-grade plutonium could someone be called a "triple threat" like Chance Shirley. As a screenwriter he has authored both the feature-length movie Hide and Creep and the short film The Seven Year Switch. As a co-director he has brought to life both those titles as well as the festival-favorite short Birthday Call. As a co-producer, he has gotten so far in debt that the WTO has recently classified him as a "severely high risk" to the stability of the global economy. He also writes a biweekly column on the making of Hide and Creep and independent film in general, "This Movie Ain't Gonna Shoot Itself," at MoviePoopShoot.com. A Broadcast Journalism graduate of Troy State University, Chance served as Assistant Camera Operator for Alice's Misadvertures in Wonderland and is currently the drummer for both the Avery Ellis Exhibit(s) and Delicate Cutters. Chance hopes to one day make Birmingham a center for film, music and art… by any means necessary.

Stacey Sessions -- Co-Producer

Having handled numerous technical and bookkeeping tasks—as well as various character parts—on previous Crewless Productions films, Stacey Sessions significantly increased her company role with Hide and Creep... along with her workload, her financial concerns and her now blinding headaches. She says she wouldn't have it any other way, and, although she presently cannot go five minutes with doubling over in sheer agony, we are apt to believe her.
